Bellingham Repertory Dance (BRD) presents Doubles, an evening of contemporary dance.

Doubles is a movement exploration of partnership, reciprocity, and trust. The show features repertory works by choreographers from around the United States and Vancouver BC. BRD is thrilled to share this dynamic material with Bellingham audiences.

In Laura Patterson’s “Agiocochook,” dancers seek collective survival amidst a cold and harrowing landscape. Anna Bauer and Jairus Carr’s fast dash duet is all at once articulate, specific, and quirky. Samuel Hobbs’ “Early” challenges the boundaries of physical connection, and Rob Kitsos describes his work, “Conurbation,” as a reflection of “the multiplicity of confined urban spaces.” Doubles will include the premiere of a new work by BRD’s own Gabby Malagreca, as well as other original material by current company members.
