Tenderpile’s Smile Aisle consists of Ben Meyer on eight string guitar, Nick Mosier on keyboard, and Gary Stivers on percussion.  The concept of this project is to play the music of Pat Metheny and other similar music in a configuration suited for the most intimate spaces. 

Pat Metheny's music is beautifully melodic and easy to listen to while also being subtly complex and technical.  Tenderpile's Smile Aisle aims to showcase this selection of instrumental deep cuts as a key ingredient for a perfectly relaxed and social environment. There’s nothing to say about the band name.  Just fun to say.
