Internationally acclaimed Italian classical guitarist & recording artist Carlo Fierens comes to Bellingham on his 2023 North American tour to play a solo recital themed as an “Homage to Paganini.”

Dr. Fierens’ program tours the rich tradition of Italian and Spanish guitar music from the 19th and 20th centuries, featuring works by Regondi, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Tarrega, and the maestro himself—Niccolò Paganini. Come prepared to hear stunning virtuosity, exquisite lyricism, and refreshing takes on these gems of the classical guitar repertoire.

Dr. Fierens comes to Bellingham as a guest of our local Northwest Guitar Society and will give a public masterclass at Western Washington University on April 8th, 11am-1pm.
