Bob Paltrow is a classically trained pianist, singer-songwriter, and guitarist, composing, arranging, and performing in a variety of genres including rock, pop, folk, jazz, retro-soul, reggae, Middle Eastern, folk, hip hop, Latin and blues.

Paltrow's recent band stints include pianist for the retro-soul duo Ruby Flambé with Bailey Ann Martinet (Bellingham) and keyboardist for funk/soul/reggae Ebb, Slack and Flood (Anacortes). Paltrow currently performs with newly formed Bellingham soul/funk group North Sound Soul; keyboards/vocals/guitar in the Stone Jones duo/trio with Paige Woods; and performing solo.
